TUMBLR POST.

I can can't manage. I feel like I'm one of those people that shows happiness on the outside, that I can handle things but on the inside, I'm crushed. Broken into pieces each passing day. I need someone right now. A friend. I wanted to share my problems even to talk about it.  I know my friends are ready to listen, but I don't want to share to them the burden I feel. I know letting it out somehow helps me to be motivated to solve those problems. But I just can't. Maybe it's my ego. I'm the person who my friends run into if they have problems, and know I need a friend to run into. I just can't run into me. *sigh* I use to tell one of my friend that letting it out somehow ease's the burden you feel. And now, I'm the one who needs to let it out. I know, Ironic.

I know this is just a challenge from God and I know I can surpass it.

Untitled.

I've got nothing to do on a Thursday afternoon. What a life! :| I'm tired of being a bummer. I wanted to go to a culinary school or to work maybe. All I do everyday is to wake up late, ate lunch because it's already 11:30am, go back to my room, surf the net, go downstairs to have a snack, go back the my room, surf the net, watch TV series or movie, go downstairs to take a bath and eat dinner, go back to my room, surf the net until I'm sleepy. That's my routine everyday. and I'm tired of it. I wanted something new. Every time I logged in on Facebook all I see are updates on friends experiences on their work. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy for them. Promise! But I wanted to be happy for me as well. I'm really on my own now. It's my future, I need to do something now.

Ok! I'm supposedly doing something different today. That is to clean my cabinet. It's really MESSY. So, I told myself yesterday to clean my cabinet today, since my two sisters will go to their work and my nephew have school tomorrow; so, no distractions. But when I wake up, I have this feeling that I'm lonely. I don't wanna do something because I'm not in the mood. It's one of those crazy days I have. I'll get lonely when there's no definite reason. I feel that I'm drowning in my own sadness and I don't have any idea. All I really know is that I'm sad. So, I guess I'll just surf the net like what I do every day.

Birthday Challenge.

I LOVE FOOD! There's nothing new about that. So I wanted to challenge myself to go to different restaurants or shops and try some food on my birthday. And I hope my mom supports me financially. Hahaha! :)

First, I wanted to visit Banapple. It is known to have best cheesecakes and pies. Base on what I  have read their Banoffee pie is a must try.

I wanted to try  Banoffee pie (of course!) and Chicken Breast Parmigiano.

I'm hoping to take home three more cakes that they offer so I can share it with my family. :)

If you want to download Bannaple's price list, go visit their page: www.banapplekitchen.com

Second, Happy Lemon. I'm not a fan of drinking tea. But the curiosity to try something new got into me.

Base on what I have read, The must try drinks are Lemon Yakult and Green Tea with Rock Salt and Cheese. So, I guess I would try those two. Inspite of the gross combination of rock salt and cheese. But the thing is, how can I drink those two concoctions when I'm alone? Because my plan is to go solo fulfilling these challenges. :|

Cocoa with Rock Salt and Cheese

Lemon Yakult
Oh, there's Cocoa with Rock Salt and Cheese. I guess, I'll try that one instead of the green one. :)

Here's the menu of Happy Lemon.

I hope I'm happy as a bee when I tried those drinks. :)

Lastly,  I wanted to visit Cupcakes by Sonja in Serendra. I've tasted Sonja's cupcake when one of my senior in Diamond Hotel gave me a red velvet cupcake, since then I've wanted to taste other cupcakes on their menu. Random fact, I even wanted to work there. It's one of my dream, working everyday in an heavenly delicious environment. :)

Even their website looks wonderful. Haha! :)

Those are the cupcakes I wanted to try. Oh Good Lord! They really look good! I think i'll only eat three of those then I'll bring home the rest. :)

That's it. I need to visit three places on my birthday. Banapple and Happy Lemon is at Greenhills and Cupcakes by Sonja is located at Fort Bonifacio. I guess, my first stop will be at Cupcakes by Sonja to make sure that I can buy all the flavors I want. I'll pass by fully booked as well. :) Then Greenhills will be my last stop. I'm really excited for my birthday. I just wish my mom grants my birthday wish.

Goodnight!

Cookies and Cream Cake Pops.

I've been wanting to do cake pops for quite some time now. Since, that last time I make those Lollicakes was months ago. And my hands are itching to bake. So when I found out that my nephew doesn't want his Oreo's  anymore I though of making cookies and cream cupcakes. Yes, cupcakes. Because that's the recipe I found in the internet. So when I found this recipe I was really psyched to do it. I totally forgot that cake pops is what should be doing.

Ready to whip up some cookie and cream cupcakes. :)

Half of the cookie, so there's a surprise when you bite into it.  :)

filling up the cupcake pans.

After baking those wonderful cupcakes, I need to set them aside because I need to leave the house. So the next day, when I was about to eat one I remember that I want to make cake pops not cupcake. So I remove the cupcake liners of each cupcakes then break in into pieces. That's my favorite part of making a cake pops, and to eat them as well.

That's how it looks like. I need some melted chocolate so the stick would strongly hold the cake pops in place.
After attaching some sticks in each cake pops, I put them first in the ref. so it would be firm. Then after an hour I took them out them dip them one by one into melted chocolate then sprinkled some colorful sprinkles and oreo crumbs.

That's it I'm done. :) My mommy and our helper tells me to sell those cake pops, I guess that's a good source of income. But I guess I'm not ready yet. I hope, someday I can.

Boracay Weekend.

BORACAY! I think every Filipino wants to experience the powdery white sand of Boracay. So when my mom told us that we are going to Boracay, we are all ecstatic. We can't keep off the smiles on our faces. And we can't stop discussing what are the things we need to bring, the clothes we'll wear and the activities we'll do in Boracay.
So, when it's already the day of our vacation in Bora all I can think about is having fun. So I woke up that day with a huge positive smile plastered on my face. Everything is going smoothly, until we heard the news from my mom's office mate that there's no space for car parking so we need to park our cars at Resort's World. The bad thing is, it's so traffic. The cars barely move. And it's already 4:30pm and our flight is 5:45pm so we need to go and check-in. Thank about fun. Anyways, all those negative we're gone where inside the airport. Just look at the smiles on our faces.

Well, except for my Mom! She is worried with all the expenses. Hahaha! :)

Some of us are first timers riding a plane so they strike a pose while waiting for their turn to get in. :)

After an hour we arrive at Kalibo. Then we need to take a bus ride for 2 hours and a boat ride for 5 minutes before we officially arrived at Boracay.

Touchdown Boracay! But first we need to check-in at our hotel then have dinner before we actually see the famous white sand beach.

Mommy really liked the welcome drinks. She's actually asking for more. :))

Our baby enjoyed the drapery above his bed. He actually ask me to take his photo with what he calls "Bahay". hahaha!

We had our dinner at Andoks since it's the only one we found open. Their sisig is  actually a must try. :)

After our dinner we head back to our hotel to relax a bit. Then off we go! :)

Beautiful night. :)

lights. excuse my little experiment with the camera. hehe! :)

Well, a night will not be complete without this. :D
The next day, we need to wake up early because we'll have our Island hopping and of course our breakfast. Hahaha! :)

only in the PH. :Hahaha! :)

Daddy striking a pose. He can't really live without his phone.

We always have our family picture taken in every vacation we have.

Then by the afternoon. Me and my sister went out to finally see the beauty of Boracay. First, we had our snack at Starbucks. Then, we went to D'mall. Do some window shopping, then we ate at Lemon I Cafe. The lemon bar is so heavenly. I wish they have a branch here in Manila. Then we go back to our hotel only to find out they our out for a walk. So, we have to go and look for them. Bummer!

Ate jo.

The best lemon bar I've ever tasted. :)

T-Shirt shopping

Then we had our Dinner. I don't know what the name of the restaurant but it's buffet. After that, we head back to our hotel so we can rest, but we just can't sleep our last night in Bora. So, we go outside, Had, Jonah's shake (The best in the Island), watch the fire dancers, the walk until our feet aches.

Then the next morning, me and my sisters went out around 6:00am to have our pictures taken at the groto. Then, we swim until 11:00am, then we ate lunch then go back to Kalibo and went back to Manila.

All in all, Boracay weekend is fun. I'm really looking forward to visit Boracay again. Having a vacation is our time to bond and really have fun. :)
